This course is suitable to qualified osteopaths who are feeling unsure, uninspired and experiencing difficulties with their hands-on assessment / treatment and would like to develop their skills in a creative way, improving their understanding of findings, while learning how to become a more holistic practitioner.
Participants will be encouraged to develop personal care as practitioners and will be taught a variety of ways to develop their palpation while learning integrative osteopathic techniques including fascial, visceral and articulatory mobilisations.
Students will also be expected to visit a designated osteopathic practice to observe/ shadow treatments and appreciate the application of learned techniques and rationale. This integrated approach would be highly complementary to any form of assessment and treatment previously utilised by the participants.
At the end of this 4 months course (5 weekend workshops), the osteopath will be able to review their development while being encouraged to embrace their enhanced skills to their practices.
